Ukraine Will Play Friendly Matches With Nigeria And Estonia

The schedule of autumn matches of the national team of Ukraine, which will be held in the autumn of 2019, has been published. In addition to the Euro 2020 qualification games, two friendly matches are planned against Nigeria (September 10) and Estonia (November 14).
On September 7, Ukrainians will play the match of the Euro 2020 qualifying tournament in Vilnius with the Lithuanian team. And in three days sparring is planned. On September 10, the national team of Ukraine, for the first time in history, will play a friendly match with the three-time champion of Africa, the Nigeria national team, which recently confirmed the status of one of the most dynamic teams of the continent with bronze medals of the Africa Cup 2019.
Members of the UAF Executive Committee approved the Dnepr-Arena as the venue for this match. UAF President Andrei Pavelko said: “Given the postponement of the friendly match with the Turks, which was to be held in the Dnieper in November last year, this decision is logical and fair. This match will be the best gift to Dnipro, the main outpost of Ukraine in the east, and the first team match in the city over the past ten years. ”
The UAF Executive Committee also approved the Zaporizhzhya “Slavutich Arena” as the venue for the friendly match between Ukraine and Estonia, scheduled for November 14. This meeting will be the first-ever national team match in Zaporizhzhia.
